I have been diving/spearfishing since the late 90’s starting out with pole spears on scuba. It was a long slow progression (pre-social media) into serious spearfishing gear like I use today. I love designing, creating and building so it was a natural evolution to begin building my own spearguns eventually. As a native Californian I always appreciated the craftsmanship of hand made wooden guns that were developed by some of the big names who pioneered the sport in SoCal. So in 2016 I decided to attempt my first teak gun build. It was a blocky tuna sized gun. I was hooked and have not stopped yet!

I do not produce “batches” or any set models with model names. Instead I will work with someone to make exactly what they want and customize the gun in length, shape, power, shaft, bands, handle placement, colors, grips and more. If you don’t know exactly what you want or need, no problem, we can figure that out together or use past designs as a starting point. Some designs are popular and proven and have become more commonly built as time passes.

Every build is unique and meticulously hand made by me resulting in a very straight gun that will stay true over time. A multi layer natural Tung oil finish provides excellent protection, shine, beautiful teak coloring and allow for easy refinish over the life of the gun. Most builds will take about 6-8 weeks to complete unless I have some teak blanks already laminated and aged, then it could be about 3-4 weeks.
